Hergen Felkken took a dominant Total Tour Natal victory on Sunday, beating BP VW Polo teammate Enzo Kuun and Castrol Toyota Auris driver Mark Cronje to move straight intot he lead of the 2010 Sasol South African Rally championship.
Fourth was Zimbabwean former WRC driver Conrad Rautenbach in a production Subaru Impreza ahead of the impressive Japie van Niekerk's New Africa Toyota Auris and Nick Ryan's Toyota Run X.
JP Damseaux in his Total Toyota Run X and the troubled Jannie Habig in the third BP Volkswagen benefited from a high rate of attrition Sunday afternoon to move up to seventh and eighth overall
The biggest drama on Sunday was when Charl Wilken's brand new S2000 Ford Fiesta burned out on an open section Sunday afternoon, while Schalk Burger crashed his Toyota Run X heavily and Mohamed Moosa suffered a similar fate when he trashed his Toyota Auris.
Only 21 cars of 41 starters finished the gruelling event, with Fekken taking S2000 honours and Rautenbach N4, while Chris de Wit won Class A7 in his Toyota Run X in 12th overall, one position ahead of A6 winner Tjaart Conradie's Toyota Auris.
Andre Kleenwerk won Class A5 in his VW Citi Golf and Robson Mangezi clained N3 in his Ford Fiesta.

Fekken Takes Charge
Hergen Fekken has taken control of the Total Tour Natal with a strong run and three stage wins on Sunday morning. He was also helped by BP teammate Enzo Kuun losing half a minute in stage six of the Sasol SA Rally Championsip opener.
Zimbabwean former Citroen WRC driver Conrad Rautenbach has enjoyed a good rally and now runs third in his production class Subaru Impreza - a good position to be in considering the youngster will step up to a more competitive S2000 Ford Fiesta next rally.
He has disposed the works Castrol Toyota Auris of Mark Cronje to fourth, but both his teammate Johnny Gemmell and the third works VW of Jannie Habig have disappeared from the leaderboard and the factory Toyota is coming under increasing pressure from the impressive Japie van Niekerk's similar Auris.
Charl Wilken is a lonely sixth and ready to take advantage of the battling Aurises ahead while Fernando Rueda and Schalk Burger are 7th and 8th in their Toyota Run Xs.
