Mercedes finally unveiled its 2012 F1 car at Barcelona prior to the start of the second week of testing Tuesday.
The most obvious change on the new car is the now basically standard 2012 F1 stepped nose. Mercedes GP is is looking for a step up in performance and brings a revamped technical team this year with the addition of former Renault man Bob Bell, ex-Ferrari design chief Aldo Costa, and former Red Bull man Geoff Willis.
Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher continue in the driver's seats with Schumacher in the third year of his comeback.
