Is Audi busy plotting an all-new hypercar to take on the next Murcielago, 599, DBS & GT2?

Audi is said to be ready to move its range north of the R8 with this V12-powered R10 hypercar flagship set to take the fight to its Lamborghini Murcielago replacing cousin, Ferrari's 599, the Aston Martin DBS and Porsche's 911 GT2.
R10 prototypes disguised as Lamborghinis are said to have been seen driven by Audi testers at the Nurburgring, while Audi moles whisper that Ingolstadt is seriously considering a new hypercar planned to sit above the highly successful and much acclaimed R8 and that it's set to share its heart and soul with that forthcoming Murciélago replacement.
A sleek mid-engined fllyer, R10 will be fettled with Audi’s aluminium spaceframe chassis technology blended with carbon fibre for lightweight and supreme strength in a longer and wider solution to the R8.
The all-wheel driven R10 will also get Murcielago's next-generation V12 pumping north of 450kW to ensure a 0-100 sprint of around 3-seconds and 350km/h-plus top speed, while a diesel version celebrating that nametag's race successes is also most likely...
