Facelifted big Merc two-door will not be called SL - its set to be the new S-Class Coupé
You'd have noticed the trend already - CLK became the E Coupé and now the CL is about to become the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé.
But that's not all - the facelifted CL rephacement also has a fresh new lookthat's set to go on sale early 2011 along with a neater, more upright grille which features one chrome bar, rather than three while the newcomer also features LED daytime running lights and refreshed front and rear bumpers.
Under the bonnet, power is expected to come from a range of smaller, more efficient but just as powerful as ever turbocharged V6 and V8 engines and there's also a hybrid model in the offing.
