Peugeot 308 CC

7 Feb 2010

Peugeot presents an elegant coupe-cabrio option but can it be boulevard king?
You wouldn’t want to be relegated to the back though. Although Peugeot claims it accommodates four adults, your legs will be vacuum packed between the front and rear seats and you’ll be sitting very upright.

If you want a coupe-cabriolet in this price range, then the VW Eos 1.4 TSI is your only decent alternative. It has a bit more power but lacks sex appeal. If you’re happy going the fabric-top route then you can’t overlook the Audi A3 and BMW 1-Series soft tops either.

The 308 CC doesn’t stand head and shoulders above its rivals, but it it’s definitely one for the shortlist.
